New Top Gear front man and renowned car collector Chris Evans is selling off some of his collection at the Goodwood Revival Bonham’s auction. The collection of thirteen cars in total is expected to reach around £9 million. Some of the cars are extremely sought after and are expected to reach almost £3 million on their own.
Chris Evans’ Cars
The most expensive car Chris is selling is his Ferrari 275 GTB, a car Chris only bought in 2014. This has been repainted in pale green, mimicking the livery of the Ferrari 250 GTO of the 60’s. The car has a 3.3 litre V12 kicking out 300 rampant Italian horses.
Another of Evans’ incredibly rare cars he has decided to part with is a Ferrari 365 GTS, more commonly known as the Daytona Spyder. This version of an already rare car is expected to reach between £2.3 and £2.5 million. The car has been described as one of the finest on the market due to the fact it has less than 4,000 miles on the clock.
The Outcasts
Don’t think it’s all highly sought-after rare Ferraris Chris is selling though. He is also selling a 1936 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang replica, which has been seen regularly at Evans’ Carfest events around the country. Evans is also selling a rather out of place Fiat 126 Abarth, estimated to reach between £10,000 and £15,000. Chris bought the car because the bright orange paintwork is said to match his hair.
