BMW has done quite a lot to distinguish the new 3-series models from the old ones, but the division of model line is perhaps the greatest development in the particular department.
Since the new 3-series is only the wagon and sedan, the cabrio and coupe are splitting off as the 4-series similar to the old 8-series or 6-series and what is expected to emerge from the new 1-series.
After looking at the early spy shots of the 4-series convertible, this will be the first look at the forthcoming new model, which is being driven the same way it is supposed to be driven. The advantage of lowering the roof ahead helps in snowy and rainy situations.
Unluckily out vision is a bit masked by the swirly disguise. So we should wait till its anticipated debut to get to see the complete package.

April 20th, 2012 Nanya The demand for luxury SUVs is increasing day by day, so much so that even though the luxury taxes have gone up after the budget, and prices have gone up by 6-15% on various models, new BMW SUV X3, has joined Bimmer’s lineup of SUVs in India, in grand style.
New BMW X3 directly competes with the Audi Q5, Volkswagen Touareg (though it isn’t as popular in India quite yet), and Volvo XC60, and new Merc M & R class luxury SUVs.
The competition in Indian SUV market has become so fierce that manufacturers are now trying to create different niches rather than directly competing with others. Take for instance, Bimmer’s previous launch, the BMW X1 compact crossover, which had no directly rival, and thanks to the pricing advantage, it achieved superb sales figures over the last quarter of 2011.
Now, the company is trying to target the 50+ lakhs market, as the new X5 SUV is selling for about 55 lakhs (on-road price in Bangalore), while the compact X1 is up for sale for just about Rs 32 lakhs (base edition).

BMW has already outsmarted Audi and Mercedes Benz in terms of overall sales figures during the last financial year, and they’re expecting to boost up their annual sales figures to 12k+ over 2012-2013, as opposed to 9k+ during 2011-2012.

And, that’s not all, BMW has been focusing on used car sales too – another niche market which had not been exploited properly in India.
Bimmer has also started the corporate leasing program following the foot-steps of Mercedes Benz, and now it has become lot more affordable to own a BMW in India, which used to be nothing more than just a dream for common man, until few years back!
Long-Wheelbase 3 Series Debuts at 2012 Beijing Auto Show
April 9th, 2012 Nanya BMW is introducing its long-wheelbase 3-series sedan for Chinese customers at the upcoming 2012 Beijing Auto Show. Along with the new 3 series, there are quite a few luxury vehicles that are getting released at the auto show.
It is a long wheelbase vehicle that features 4.3 inches stretch with more room for the rear passengers. With the extended wheelbase of 4.3 inches, the vehicle looks conspicuously elegant.
The 3-series vehicle with long-wheelbase should prove itself to be popular among all executive vehicles.
The lineup is completely based on the 2012 BMW 3-Series and you can see 3 different options available for the buyers- 320Li, 335Li, and 328Li. The most powerful model in the line-up is the new 335Li that features 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder engine.
Most of the BMW models are getting unveiled at the Beijing auto show and it has been revealed through the long-wheelbase 3-Series model.
The new 3 series is designed especially for the Chinese market; the 3-Series long-wheelbase version gives a direct answer to Audi A4- long-wheelbase model.
The current generation 5-Series long-wheelbase models are available in China. Production of the new 3 series long wheel- base model will take place at Shenyang plant in China.

BMW Z-Series Festival
February 7th, 2012 Nanya Silverstone Classic powered by AA will feature United Kingdom’s first BMW Z Series fest for fans and owners of sports cars.
It will be organized by the official GB club of brand as the celebration of their 60th anniversary and the fest will feature hundreds of popular Z1, Z3, Z4, and Z8 vehicles.
Steve Miller, GM of GB Club said that they wanted to do something different to mark their 60th birthday and hence, they opted for Z-Fest to show their racing cars.
The main gathering would start from June 21, 2012 and all sports cars will be a major highlight for those attending Silver Stones.
BMW Launches 2012 3 Series with Complete Configurator up at $54,120
January 24th, 2012 Nanya Company has launched the online configurator for the new 2012 3 series sedan. The base model of 328i starts at $35,795 and 335i is priced at $43,295.
The new 3 Series sedan comes with 3 optional trims, including Modern Line, Luxury Line, and Sport Line. There are quite a few different appearance packages that enhance the interior and exterior of the car.
The completely loaded 328i is not cheaper at $54,120. With 335i, the fantasy car includes Sport Line trim for $1700, $900 for optional 19-inch alloys, Dakota leather interior for $1450, Cold Weather package for $1350 and premium package for $1900.
The overall price includes other options like sport automatic transmission, Apps iPhone integration for $500 and $250 respectively.
